The 20th cant come soon enough for the PS3 version of Bioshock. The patch will arrive that day as well fixing the pixelated big daddy and 1080p resolution/whitebar issues.
DLC is looking really great, I wonder how much playtime it will add? I really like that these challenges are going to be no walk in the park in terms of difficulty. Wish it was free though...

Its a shame that fanboys, and ill even admit myself sometimes, can get caught up in numbers/percentages/grades/wha tever when trying to defend ones platform and the quality of it's games

Fallout 3 bugs, Fable II glitches, Bioshock PS3 BigdaddyTextures/1080pWhiteBar s, can't anybody make a complete game anymore without patching it a month down the road???
I miss the PS2 days when devs were forced to have the game bugless since they couldnt release patches.

This game is quite scary, but you have to help put yourself in the setting required to do so. If possible, 40+ widescreen, surround sound, no lights, no one else in the room to talk to, and a pair of hightop sneakers, cause youre going to jump.
Story mode by yourself is great and all, but playing it with online pals and making levels to share and play is double the fun.
Can't wait to get off work and get to playing!

I guess Ubisoft with Shaun White is going to take the torch from now on for snowboarding excellence, but I predict it will never be as over the top with mindblowing tricks that SSX was.

The first picture of the comparison is PSone "left" and Wii version "right". I pulled out the demo disc from an old OPM that contained the PSone version and popped her in to make sure.
I believe the second comparison picture is accurrate.

Great games though for PSone/PS2, extremely rare and expensive to get though unfortunately...

Dang man, where did you get an early release from? Ive just been busy blasting some necromorphs on Dead Space, highly suggest it, pretty freaky though. Im looking forward to grabbing Bioshock to hold me over for a week since LBP got pushed back.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Change of plans, guess I'll just pick up Bioshock on tuesday instead since I was planning on getting it in November.
I had hoped they could have gotten those ready for launch. Could have helped out a few other review scores I think. But its not too much of a big deal, I'll just play through the game a few times till it comes out. Hope its free!

People were getting frustrated with the demo graphically when it came out since there was issues of it being very blurry when ran at 1080p. A 2k forum member took a great comparison shot between 720p and 1080p.

Its been stated by Elizabeth that there is a slight blur effect that is utilized to optimize performance for the PS3, though I think it was blown out of proportion by many gamers who were playing the demo in 1080p, which looks much blurier than played at 720p,

If youre gonna try to make an argument with Metacritic, you need to wait till the dust has settled and all sources have submitted their reviews.
